PARKING

We highly recommend taking public transportation, if possible, as parking can be tight in this area.  If you need to drive, we recommend reserving a space with SpotHero to insure you have a parking spot that morning!  Visit SpotHero here for parking ideas and to reserve a spot (make sure to update the date/time for accurate parking info!)

RideShare (Uber/Lyft)

Depending on whether the Lincoln Park Zoo lot is open (it officially opens at 6am), the driver will either drop you off at the zoo lot entrance (corner of Fullerton Ave. & Cannon Dr.) or they can take you directly to the start area in the park.  They will need to pull a ticket for the parking lot, but there is a 30-minute grace period, so they won't be charged for parking if they exit within 30 minutes.

Divvy Bikes - there are several Divvy Bike stations within 1/4 to 1/2 mile of the start/finish area.  Click Here for Divvy locations nearby the start/finish area

Public Parking Lots

• Chicago History Museum Lot - 1730 N Stockton Dr, Chicago, IL 60614
• The Lincoln Park Zoo parking lot officially opens at 6am, so this is NOT a good place to plan on if you’re starting with the run/walk group at 6am.  If you’re starting with us at 6:30am (continuous runners), this could be a good option for you.  It is possible that the lot may open early, but we can't guarantee it will be.  Enter the parking lot at Fullerton & Cannon Dr. (click here for Google Map link)
• Piper’s Alley Garage - It’s a little more of a walk (.6 miles), but the Piper’s Alley Garage at 230 W North Ave. should have plenty of spots available as well.
